Negratín Dam, Zújar, Granada(Spain).

Description:

The building is constructed on the thalweg, creating a natural pools, bothn outdoor and indoor.

As far as the original romans thermal springs are concerned, our pool grow like a natural fountainhead where the water emerges from limestone, and the natural terrain geometry is kept the same. The skylights and the set of volumes help to emphasize this concept.
The reconstruction of the old dike allows the retention of water and keeps the distance between thermal spring water and cold water resulting from Negratin dam.
